most recently (2019), i held a brick-making workshop in collaboration with rosa novak and kate pruitt at mutual stores in oakland. members of the public could choose from an array of pulp from local printing presses and create their own paper bricks to take home with them. we also invited artists carissa potter, j. sherlock norheim, torreya cummings, lukaza branfman-verissimo, ken becker, amy nathan, shushan tesfuzigta, carrie hott, and tracy ren to contribute special artist edition bricks which were made available for sale.
